Seed Grant Program
As part of our NICHD R24 Population Center Infrastructure Grant we have funds to support faculty-initiated population research with seed grants. The goal is to help you develop nascent research ideas into larger-scale projects that will eventually obtain funding from NIH R01 awards or other competitive extramural sources. Depending on the number, size and quality of applications, the amount of each Seed Grant award will vary. Requested funds should be between $5,000 and $20,000 (direct costs) for a project.
The ideal use of these funds is to help develop new ideas and conduct preliminary research that is likely to result in successful applications for extramural funding. Funds may be used for graduate student researcher, or other research-related expenses in connection wiht accessing restricted data, or data collection and analysis.
Applicant must be a CCPR faculty affiliate.
